Short Term “facts finding” Mission in the premises of the Beneficiary Administrations in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, along with EPO IP Experts.

The main objectives were:

  • Assessment of the AGEPI IT infrastructure and management of this infrastructure:
    • Position of IT Department within the institution
    • Organization, including financial and human resources
    • System management
    • Network and Network Services
    • Business Continuity Plan
  • Review of the standard of IP data;
  • Visit to Moldovan Customs Service and presentation of the INES/INES+ systems and assessment of potential interest for an installation under the umbrella of EC funded project.

Mission has been followed by writing of this report which consist findings from the mission, as well as, recommendations for activities which will support AGEPI and Customs Service needs within the framework of cooperation that would be EU funded.
